Dr. Alicia Montgomery

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Montgomery was the first in her family to graduate from college. She is a steadfast advocate for education advocacy, having served on numerous statewide coalitions, alliances, committees, and working groups, and has worked as a teacher, a school and district administrator, and at the post-secondary and state level. An accomplished educational leader with a deep commitment to fostering equitable and inclusive learning environments. With extensive experience in strategic planning, community engagement, and addressing systemic challenges in education, Dr. Montgomery has earned a reputation as a proactive, empathetic, and effective leader who inspires change.
